Liberty Of London For Mac

Ever Hip is a pinky coral — the shade you’re seeing everywhere for spring (more on that in another post, I think). Peachstock is a permanent shade, a nudifying peach. Petals and Peacocks is glowing, electrifying fuchsia. Big fish games free download full version for mac. Man, that is a strong blue-violet. Blooming Lovely is lavender. The combination of the pretty white pattern packaging and the British connection made this purchase inevitable. Here’s Dirty Plum blush in the pan–that’s a strong color! I suspect that many who try this blush at a counter will believe that it is far too strong to wear. Here is a heavy swatch (left) and lighter swatch (right). As you can see, even the “lighter” swatch is a deep, pigmented color that could easily overwhelm. Despite the “matte” designation on MAC’s website, I do perceive a tiny bit of shimmer (click to enlarge the picture) although this does not really show much on a standard application: Here’s the trick to making this blush work– use a skunk brush. Plus, you only need a tiny bit on a skunk brush to give the same pigmentation as a standard blush.

As most of you know, MAC’s Give Me Liberty of London collection will become available in stores and counters tomorrow! I went to the reveal event last week, and here are the swatches of the product I purchased. **Makeup and Nail Tutorial Coming up within the next few days** Twitterista: Julieg713guru All products are my own personal products and I'm not paid to show them in this video. MAC Give Me Liberty of London Collection. Launch Date: March 11, 2010 International Launch Date: April 2010. Edit #1: Now with a few images! 🙂 Not everything, but at least you get an idea about the packaging — which I think looks phenomenal. They don’t look like stickers, and as long as they’re not, this may be some of the best packaging MAC has put out in awhile.

I hear my voice a lot deeper, and much more sophisticated – and when i hear it back from somewhere, it’s like this whiny little girl, lol. 🙂 It was a first for me too, to hear You. You are a lot perkier in sound than I imagined – although I should’ve known based on all those fun quirky dancing photos. 🙂 It’s really refreshing to see and hear someone so energetic and cute! And, well, You’ll always hold a special place in my heart – crazy cat ladies have to stick together. 🙂 Petra (btw, last night I had dreamt about Hawaii, and i’m sure it was because of your recent gorgeous photos!).

My kids are keeping me so busy lately with all of their growing up and what not 😉 For the first time in a LONG time MAC has floored me with their new collection, Give Me Liberty Of London. If I had the funds, I would have bought it all. I picked up: Ever Hip lipstick Frankly Fresh Lipglass English Accents Lipglass Give Me Liberty Of London eye shadow Birds & Berries eye shadow Prim and Proper Blush Shell Pearl Beauty Powder Blue India nail polish I’m still seriously lemming bough grey and summer rose bp. I’m not a BP fan by any means but the ones with this collection seem a lot more pigmented. I’ve been able to use Shell Pearl on it’s own and I’m NW25.

For the sake of clarity, I ask that official product images and swatches (those that you would find on a mailer postcard, sourced from MAC or posted on the official MAC website) are not posted in this thread.

Blue India nail polish was an early favorite from the collection. I did a hasty manicure so you could see what that looks like on nails. It’s a complex and interesting shade, but not my favorite for my skin color.

Liberty Of London For Kids

Tried it on a whim and knew I had to have it. I’m going to be keeping even the cardboard boxes from this collection!

My instinct to order it sight unseen was because I feel that this collection will sell out quickly, not quite a quickly as Barbie but not too much longer either. Indeed, Shell Pearl is now gone from MAC’s online site, although still on Nordstrom.com and in some stores. Several of the lip products and Blue India nail polish is gone as well.

MAC Liberty of London Birds & Berries ($14.50) is a veluxe pearl texture eyeshadow, which is my favorite in MAC’s line. This is a shimmery deep blue-teal, that appears to have a bit of grey-black in the mix. As with most of MAC’s other veluxe pearl eyeshadows, Birds & Berries has a soft, lovely texture with a pretty shimmer. Plus, with the Liberty of London packaging, I found this eyeshadow impossible to resist. Here is a picture of the pan, which shows that lovely lustrous blue finish: Here is a swatch, compared to the closest eyeshadow that I have in my collection. Overall, Birds & Berries appears to be a more shimmery, more pigmented version of Chanel’s Bois Bleu: I found that the other eyeshadow colors in MAC’s Liberty of London collection were either mattes or not colors that I wanted to add to my collection at this time. For that reason, Birds & Berries was my sole eyeshadow purchase.
